Powerful black light effects for a wide range of applications

The PURELIGHT BRIX EYE UV is a compact UV effect light for mobile DJs, clubs, bars, parties, stages and decorative applications. With its two separately controllable UV light sources, the unit produces intense black light effects that effectively highlight fluorescent materials, light-coloured textiles and special UV decorations.

Two independently controllable UV light sources

The brightness of both UV sections can be adjusted independently from 0 to 100 per cent. This allows both light sources to be operated at the same level or combined selectively at different intensities. In addition, 23 static presets are available, enabling quick selection of pre-set configurations.

Automatic programmes and music control

For operation without external lighting control, the PURELIGHT BRIX EYE UV offers four integrated effect programmes. In automatic mode, the internal effects are played back automatically. The speed of the sequence can be adjusted across 20 levels, allowing for both slow, atmospheric transitions and fast, dynamic lighting changes.

Built-in strobe effect

A built-in strobe effect expands the creative possibilities. Its flash speed can also be adjusted across several levels. This makes the PURELIGHT BRIX EYE UV suitable for both subtle UV pulses and fast strobe effects at dance-oriented events.

Flexible DMX control

Two sound modes are available for music-synchronised light shows. Via the built-in microphone, the effect light reacts to music and ambient noise. The sensitivity of the music control can be adjusted across nine levels, allowing the response to be tailored to different volume levels.

For integration into professional lighting systems, the PURELIGHT BRIX EYE UV supports DMX512. Depending on the desired scope of control, modes with 2, 4 or 6 DMX channels are available. In 2-channel mode, the two UV light sources can be dimmed directly and independently of one another. The 4-channel mode adds a master dimmer and strobe control to this functionality. In the extended 6-channel mode, the integrated effects, programme speed and the two sound modes can also be accessed.

The master/slave function allows several units to be operated in synchronisation. A handy transfer function also enables the selected channel mode to be applied to other connected lights. This allows several units to be set up for joint operation particularly quickly.

Clear display and built-in temperature protection

The integrated display offers clear menu navigation. The backlight can be set to switch off automatically after 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds, or remain on permanently. Furthermore, the unit displays the current temperature of the internal lighting circuit board. The temperature protection can be set between 50 and 65 °C. If the selected threshold is exceeded, the light automatically reduces its output.
