Sounds great. Open, clear sound. you can almost hear some part of the old 2002s still in it. Its light and not too big, so not the most suitable for fast hard hitting but more of a precise clean crash. Nice addition to the kit, no doubt about it, and a very good performance for the price you pay, same goes for most of the pst7s
