With the Paoletti 500J Lounge, the Italian luxury manufacturer presents a stylish hollowbody electric guitar that combines traditional craftsmanship with a boutique design full of character. The chestnut body not only provides a striking look, but also delivers a resonant and strong open basic character with a warm response in combination with the hollow body construction. The elegant appearance is supported by the natural/wine finish, golden hardware and high-quality olivewood flower inlays on the ebony fingerboard. A central feature of the brand is the extensive custom concept: almost all components can be customised on request, making each instrument a truly unique piece. Every Paoletti is therefore not just an instrument, but an individual one-off with a high boutique standard. The models available in the shop are also based on this configuration concept and represent specific variants within the respective series, allowing a completely personalised guitar to be made on request.
The glued neck made of roasted maple in a comfortable medium "C" profile promises pleasant playability and complements the guitar's acoustically lively character with a direct response and stable sustain. The short 628 mm scale length ensures a smooth playing feel, while the ebony fingerboard with 22 frets combines modern playability with classic hollowbody aesthetics. High-quality components such as a bone nut, Kluson Deluxe tuners and the solid Paoletti Brass Tailpiece round off the construction.
In terms of sound, the 500J Lounge relies on two Paoletti humbuckers, which enable a broad spectrum from warm jazz and blues sounds to rich classic rock sounds. The sound can be intuitively shaped using the classic 3-way switch and volume and tone controls, while the combination of tune-o-matic bridge and brass tailpiece ensures balanced resonance behaviour. Made in Italy and supplied with a matching case and certificate, the Paoletti 500J Lounge is a high-quality boutique guitar with its own unique character and exclusive features.
Paoletti Guitars is an Italian custom guitar maker specialising in handcrafted instruments made from high-quality chestnut wood, often sourced from historic wine barrels. The Italian family business can look back on a 130 to 170-year-old tradition: each instrument is made by hand using traditional methods and combines a special look with a unique custom character.
A central feature of the brand is the extensive custom concept: almost all components can be customised on request. From body shape and series (Wine, Loft or Lounge) to neck and fingerboard options (e.g. individual inlays) to pickups, hardware and finish (colour-over-colour options through to individual graphics), the specifications of the instrument can be freely decided.
Both classic and unusual combinations can be realised, including different pickup configurations (e.g. SSS, HSS, P90 setups), different bridge systems or individual colour and aging options with multi-layered finishes. Even details such as fingerboard inlays, tuners or pickguard materials can be customised.
