The PaulyTon P120 - T30+C Microphone Pop Filter is a high class pop shield that includes a gooseneck for easy mounting.
The T30 is based on the use of finest materials and outstanding workmanship. At the upper end of the “Tragewendel”, as the gooseneck is called with German mechanics, there is a so-called knurled screw. After pre-positioning the filter in the desired position by bending the gooseneck, you easily fine-position the filter ring at the optimum angle and simply lock the knurled screw. This avoids any mechnical wear on the ring’s thread.
The P120 has traces of Aluminium in its make up. Aluminium is the metal found most frequently in the earth. The raw pure light metal looks dull and silver grey because of its quickly developing layer of oxide when exposed to the air. This layer of oxide makes aluminium very corrosion-resistant at ph-values between four and nine. Furthermore, it does not possess any magnetic qualities unwanted in sound technology and has a very long durability.
On top of that, aluminium is more stable, much lighter and more solid than wood, plastic or other metals. In short, it is the ideal construction material when looking at comparable metals and plastics. The Pauly-Adapter-Cone is made of high-purity aluminium, too. Ingeniously, its conical shape and its mass provide absorption of structure-born noise, optimizing the Pauly SuperScreen’s effect. It is ideal for recording completely isolated from structure-borne noise in sound studios unwilling to make any compromises with difficult recordings. Removing the metric reduction thread enables the filter to be mounted on the standard 5/8’’ thread in the U. S. A.
