This Pearl Snare SS1455SBE/C 14"x5.5" in matte black from the Sensitone series comes with a steel shell in standard size and impresses with an outstanding price-performance ratio. Equipped with steel hoops, Remo heads and a noble finish, the Pearl Sensitone Matte Black Snare Drum is convincing in every aspect and is suitable for the ambitious beginner as well as for advanced drummers and is a great addition to any drum setup, whether as main or side snare.
The Sensitone Snare is completed by high-quality shell hardware. The 1.6 mm thick hoops are made of steel and allow the shell to breathe which is reflected in harmonious overtones. The bridge-style lugs ensure an even distribution of the tension on the shell. The snare wire is equipped with 20 strands and can be tensioned and released almost silently thanks to the butter-soft snare throw-off.
