The Peavey Session LTD 400 preamp packs the clear transparent tone of the original Peavey Session 400 Limited amplifier into a practical pedal format. Just like the original from 1974, the Peavey Session LTD 400 Preamp produces a classic vintage sound that is ideal for defined steel guitar tones. Furthermore, the pedal has some useful modern advantages in the form of improved ambient noise suppression in almost all environments. A 3-Band-Equalizer with additional Mid Shift and Presence controls is available for shaping the sound, while the Sensitivity control offers enough range to make subsequent amp stages sweat. For this purpose, the Session LTD 400 Preamp uses a customized circuit that internally increases the incoming voltage from 9 volts to 25 volts.
