The Peavey Session LTD 400 Preamp at a glance

The Peavey Session LTD 400 preamp packs the clear, transparent tone of the original Peavey Session 400 Limited amplifier into a practical pedal format. Just like the original from 1974, the Peavey Session LTD 400 Preamp produces a classic vintage sound, ideal for defined steel guitar tones. Additionally, the pedal offers modern advantages, such as improved ambient noise suppression in almost any environment. A 3-band equalizer with additional Mid Shift and Presence controls allows precise sound shaping, while the Sensitivity control provides enough range to drive subsequent amp stages hard. To achieve this, the Session LTD 400 Preamp uses a customized circuit that internally increases the incoming voltage from 9 volts to 25 volts.
