Pepote Percusion Maestro Cajon

The Pepote Percussion Maestro Cajon is a 16.5mm American whitewood Cajon featuring 2 x snare spirals. Jose "Pepote" Hernandez has been manufacturing first category cajones in Huelva, Spain for more than 18 years. The "Maestro" is assembled and tuned by the maestro himself. The body of the Maestro is made of Tulipier. The combination of solid wood body and Ebano strike plate not only provides a unique look, feel and sound, but the Maestro is sublime with its warm, round sound and finest snare response.

• Body: American Whitewood, 16.5 mm
• Frontplate: Ebano, 5 plies, 3 mm
• 2x 10 snares with unique finish that provides a more sensitive and controlled reaction
• Snares can be adjusted independently on both sides
• Bass reflex system provides basses with more presence
• Strong and rounded corners as well as cavities for the thumbs for a more comfortable performance
• Marquetry in the playing areas and a seat
