The PLX-500-W is a USB turntable with direct drive for DJs and vinyl enthusiasts. The turntable offers high-precision audio reproduction and produces the very best analog vinyl sound. It also has a robust body and excellent vibration damping. Its USB port on the back allows you to record your vinyl collection digitally with the free rekordbox DJ software. You can also use the PLX-500-W with the optional rekordbox DVS Plus Pack, a compatible mixer and the Control-Vinyl RB VS1-K to play digital audio files.
No external preamplifier is required for direct connection to your system or active loudspeakers, as the PLX-500-W has phono and line outputs. The PLX-500-W turntable has a high torque that makes it a great turntable for the club or for enjoying your favourite records at home.
The PLX-500-W comes with some features of its big brother, the PLX-1000, and also impresses with high sound quality. The shortest possible signal path from the needle to the outputs minimizes distortion for the best warmest analog vinyl sound.
The built-in USB port lets you connect the PLX-500-W to your PC or Mac and convert your record collection into high-quality digital WAV files. With the help of the free rekordbox software, digitizing your tracks is easy. Once the converted audio files are in your rekordbox collection, you can play them back with the PLX-500-W and a rekordbox DVS setup, DDJ controller or CDJs. Plus, you can enjoy the songs on your tablet or smartphone anytime, anywhere.
