The Pioneer DJ PLX-500-W is a direct-drive turntable designed for DJs and vinyl enthusiasts. With its professional construction and precise audio reproduction, it delivers a warm, clear analogue sound. Its layout, inspired by the professional PLX-1000, ensures intuitive operation. With a start-up time of under one second and a wow-and-flutter value of no more than 0.15% WRMS, the PLX-500-W offers powerful performance for any application. The integrated USB port allows direct connection to a Mac or PC, enabling high-quality digitisation and archiving of vinyl collections using the free rekordbox DJ software. Thanks to its high-torque direct drive, the PLX-500-W is ideal for both home use and professional DJ performances. The three playback speeds – 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM – provide flexibility for playing various types of records. The robust die-cast aluminium platter ensures stable rotation and minimises unwanted vibrations. For seamless integration into any sound system, the PLX-500-W features a switchable phono/line output, eliminating the need for an external preamp. The dust cover with built-in record sleeve stand allows users to display the cover of the currently playing vinyl.
The PLX-500-W is equipped with some features borrowed from its big brother, the PLX-1000, and also delivers the same high sound quality. Distortions are minimized due to the shortest possible signal path from the needle to the outputs, thereby ensuring for the best, warm analog vinyl sound.
With the integrated USB port you can connect to your PC or Mac to the PLX-500-K and convert your music collection into high quality, digital WAV files. Use the free rekordbox software to digitize your tracks. Once the converted audio files are in your rekordbox collection, you can play it back with the PLX-500-K and a rekordbox DVS setup, a DDJ controllers or CDJs. On top of that you can enjoy your songs on your tablet or phone anytime and anywhere.

Great product. Looks great and plays great. Only downside is if you touch the lid or side of deck whilst playing a record it causes needle to jump. I have heard that the pkx1000 is made of metal instead of hard plastic and so this stoos this from happening. Still a lovely turntable for the money. Highly recommended. 5 stars
