TORAIZ AS-1 offers two voltage controlled oscillators ( VCO ) with infinitely variable triangle, sawtooth and Pulse waveforms.

Two voltage Prophet-6 controlled filters

Shape your sound by processing the two voltage controlled Prophet-6 filters (VCF): a resonating 24dB Lowpass Filter which can self-oscillate and a resonating 12dB highpass filter.

Prophet-6 effects

Let your creativity run wild with the effects that are also derived from the double Prophet-6 effect engine. Add a single effect, or combine two effects to add more textures to your sound. A "true FX bypass" preserves the pure analog signal path, with effects deactivated.

Touch Keyboard and Scale Mode

Your created sounds are played via the touchpad-style keyboard. The pitches can be scaled in scale mode using 21 scales and you always stay "in Tune ". The tones remain in a harmonic context even without musical knowledge, which is defined by the 21 different tone scales, allowing TAS-1 to be played intuitively.

Ribbon slider control

With the Ribbon slider, seven different parameters can be dynamically integrated into Perfomace by simply moving your fingers up and down the Ribbon field: change the pitch of the two oscillators at once, change the FX portion and much more! The Ribbon slider will surely become THE central element of your live performance!

Arpeggiator

Create a repetitive pattern by holding notes on the touch keyboard. Change the tone sequences either in Oktave , or in half steps in real time. Experiment with combinations of different keys, or adapt the key to the playing song.

64-step Sequenzer

Use the 64-step Sequenzer to record patterns step by step. In addition, the keys of the pattern can be changed in real time during playback by pressing the Relay key on the touch keyboard. Be Sequenz inspired by a preset and then work it out according to your own ideas.
