16 XMAX-R Preamps for clear signals on stage

At the heart of the mixer are 16 recallable XMAX-R microphone preamps. These preamps deliver a transparent and low-noise sound and can be stored and recalled completely digitally. This facilitates quick scene changes and ensures reproducible settings for tour productions or fixed installations.

A total of 18 DSP channels are available at . Each channel has an integrated EQ and compressor so that important sound processing can be carried out directly in the mixer. The busses are also equipped with appropriate dynamics and EQ processing.

Flexible bus structure for monitoring and routing

The StudioLive Series III SE 16R provides six FlexMix busses. Depending on the application, these can be configured as aux paths, subgroups or matrixes. This allows the mixer to reproduce both classic monitor paths on stage and more complex routing structures.

Two effects busses with stereo returns are also available. A total of four internal effect processors provide reverb, Delay and other effects that can be used directly in Mix.

Integrated 18 x 18 USB audio interface

In addition to live use, the SE 16R is also suitable as a recording center in the studio or rehearsal room. The integrated 18 x 18 USB audio interface enables multi-track recordings directly on a computer.

In addition, the mixer has an SDXC card slot for direct stereo recordings of the main Mix as a WAV file, so that recordings are also possible without a computer.

In conjunction with the PreSonus Capture software, live recordings are particularly easy to create. Capture also supports Virtual Soundcheck. This allows previously recorded tracks to be fed back into the mixer to perform a sound check without musicians on stage.

Remote mixing with Universal Control and QMix UC

The mixer is controlled via the Universal Control software. It offers complete remote control of the mixer including scene management, routing and effect control. An offline editor also allows shows to be prepared without a connected mixer.

The QMix and Monitor app is also available for musicians. This allows individual band members to set up their own personal monitor mix.
