The main features of the Quik-Lok QL-742 Pro Series Twin Tier Keyboard Stand include:
When you have 2 relatively heavy keyboards (Moog Voyager & Korg Kronos), this is an ideal stand. Good at both sitting or standing levels. Tilt and height of second tier very useful. As is the wide lower level. Extremely stable and the rubber feet on both levels don't move easily (which is a good thing - as they often come off on lighter models and makes). Only negative, is when you close (pushing the central button, the stand tends to open up completely, then you have to push it again (trying to hold it at same time- to either open it to the right position or close it to a flat transportable position). - This will last a long time!!
The box section design is strong and the adjustability is great. Just obe flaw and that is the soft aluminium connectors for the 2nd tier. The through bolt has no locking nut on the inside and de threads easily leaving an unsecured and wobbly connection. Quicklok need to adress this for a 100 pound stand that aspect is pretty shoddy
