The RCF EVOX J9 is an active, portable 3-way column PA system that combines professional sound reinforcement performance with maximum ease of use. Designed for high speech intelligibility, powerful sound and even dispersion, the EVOX J9 is ideal for demanding live applications, DJs, presentations and events.
A powerful 1.75" compression driver with True Resistive Waveguide is used in the high frequency range, ensuring a controlled dispersion of 120° × 40°. The result is an extremely homogeneous sound distribution with clearly defined highs - even over longer distances. The mid-range reproduction is handled by six precisely tuned 3" full-range speakers, which ensure assertiveness and transparency in the critical speech and vocal range. A 12" woofer in a flow-optimized bass reflex cabinet delivers a powerful, deep and cleanly controlled bass.
The heart of the system is the integrated two-channel Class D power amplifier with a total output of 2100 watts, which enables a maximum sound pressure level of up to 130 dB. This means that the EVOX J9 offers more than enough headroom for dynamic music programs and superior level reserves - even in larger audience situations.
The integrated DSP provides three practical presets (Linear/Live, Club, Voice) and enables quick adaptation to different application scenarios. The system volume is controlled centrally via the "MAIN LEVEL" control, which makes the EVOX J9 particularly user-friendly.
For maximum operational safety, the system is equipped with a soft limiter and comprehensive protection circuits(thermal and RMS protection). The fanless convection cooling guarantees absolutely silent operation - a decisive advantage for speech reinforcement, acoustic performances or corporate events.
Despite its high performance, the EVOX J9 remains consistently transport-friendly: a sturdy carrying handle on the subwoofer makes handling easier, and a padded carrying bag for the column array including distance tube is already included in the scope of delivery. This means that the system can be set up quickly, transported safely and is ready for use at any time.
