RCF Evox V15

The RCF EVOX V15 is a professional, active, 3-way column PA system designed for demanding live sound applications. It combines high output power, clear speech and vocal reproduction, and powerful bass performance in an elegant, portable system design. This makes the EVOX V15 ideal for bands, DJs, solo performers, presentations, events and mobile event technology.

To deliver powerful yet precise sound reproduction, the system features a high-performance 15-inch RCF woofer in a bass-reflex subwoofer, ten 4-inch neodymium midrange drivers and a 1.75-inch neodymium compression driver. The integrated 120° x 40° True Resistive Waveguide ensures wide and uniform sound coverage, so that the audience and listeners benefit from clear, coherent sound reproduction even when positioned off-axis.

The RCF EVOX V15 is powered by an integrated 3500-watt peak Class D power amplifier with DSP. With a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB SPL, the system offers sufficient power reserves for live music, DJ sets and event sound reinforcement. At the same time, protection circuits, soft limiters and thermal protection ensure reliable operation even during demanding applications.

Four practical presets are available for different applications. ‘Linear’ delivers natural and balanced reproduction; ‘Live’ is tailored to bands and solo performers; ‘Club’ emphasises the extreme frequencies for DJ sets and music playback; whilst ‘Voice’ highlights the speech range, thereby ensuring particularly good intelligibility for presentations, talks or conferences.

The EVOX V15 is also well-equipped for practical use when it comes to connectivity. A balanced combo XLR/jack input accepts line signals, whilst the XLR output allows the signal to be looped through to additional loudspeakers. Power is supplied via robust PowerCON TRUE1 TOP In/Out connectors. This allows the system to be integrated quickly and neatly into professional set-ups.

The well-thought-out cabinet design makes transport and set-up easier. The subwoofer is made from robust birch plywood, whilst the column unit is constructed from durable composite material. The top speaker unit comes with a padded carry bag. Thanks to its modular design, the system is ready for use in no time: simply place the column elements on top of the subwoofer, connect the power and signal, select a preset and get started.
