HFD from Rides In The Storm is a discrete Highpass filter with a variable sound character. The filter itself is a classic Highpass Filter with a round sound and its slope can be switched between 12, 18 and 24 dB. An overdrive (clipper) can be activated directly after the filter to overdrive the filter from subtle to hard, depending on the set resonance. The cutoff parameter can be modulated with four control voltages simultaneously. These are divided into 1V/oct, linear and exponential FM as well as a dedicated envelope input. Resonance has its own control voltage input. With the exception of resonance, all CV inputs are equipped with attenuators. The HFD is also the perfect addition to the Synthvoice SED-CSM as a serial insert to enrich the sound palette with high-pass sounds.
