RME OPTO-X

The RME HDSPe OPTO-X Extension Board is an alternative extension option for the HDSPe MADI FX triple card.

The RME HDSPe OPTO-X has full functionality, and, like the standard extension board, comes with Word Clock input and output and a D-Sub connector for connecting MIDI and AES.

While the standard extension board has a standard coaxial MADI I/O, the OPTO-X replaces this with an optical MADI I/O.

The main features of the RME HDSPe OPTO-X Extension Board include:

  • Extension option for the HDSPe MADI FX
  • Optical MADI input and output
  • MIDI input and output via D-sub
  • AES input and output via D-sub
