The Red Hill
Since the laminated araucaria body is equipped with a flat scalloped X-bracing, the compact guitar develops each note in a quick response. Thus, a stately sound result can be achieved with little effort. The short neck made of Select Hardwood with a composite fingerboard is easy and obliging to grip in all 19 frets. Since the guitar has the neck/body junction already at the 12th fret, the high registers can also be picked easily and obligingly. In addition, due to the slim 42 mm nut width, solos and complex fingering patterns can be easily mastered.
The open vintage tuners guarantee easy tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are fixed with black bridge pins in a composite bridge. In addition, finely tuned hardware ensures clean intonation over the entire scale length of 628 mm. Visually, the instrument is kept rather simple in the style of early Western guitars and is perfectly rounded off by the matt finish. The fretboard is decorated with discreet dot inlays that serve as orientation and stand in clear contrast to the dark composite material.
