REMO Controlled Sound X Snare Head

The "Controlled Sound X" heads from Remo consist of a 12 mil thick single layer of Mylar film and are reinforced on the underside by a 5 mil dot. This construction promises not only a significantly longer life, it especially increases the tone control in the midrange - this makes the Controlled Sound X skins ideal for snare drums that move in the high-frequency range.

The REMO Controlled Sound X Snare Head:

Material: single ply Mylar film, 12 mil (approx. 0.31 mm)
5mil (approx. 0.127 mm) reinforcement dot on underside provides increased midrange control
Longer life than conventional heads
