Remo head for Bass drums from the Encore series
The Remo ENCORE Ambassador Ebony 20" is a single-ply bass drum head with a striking black Finish and pre-punched sound hole - ideal for modern setups that require a direct, open sound with a controlled response. Compared to the Encore Ambassador Clear, the Ebony head offers a slightly darker basic tone with high resonance and a rich Attack - perfect for rock, pop, fusion or in the studio.
Remo Encore: manufactured according to the US model
The head is manufactured in the Remo factory in Taiwan using an alternative production process: the Mylar film is pressed into the aluminum ring together with a stable steel core, which ensures a particularly firm hold. The Encore Ambassador Ebony therefore not only impresses with its sound, but also with its excellent price-performance ratio.
