The Rickenbacker 620 6-String Electric Guitar features the famous 'Cresting Wave' Maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's.
The Rickenbacker 620 ‘s Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the maple double bound neck and body are solid through and through. The 620 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the 300 series, complete with Rickenbacker's own high gain pickups and stereo output. Successfully retaining the balance from the original specifications, the 620 is another fine example of Rickenbacker quality workmanship.

This guitar is probably more versitile then alot of people think. This would would work great for Classic Rock, and Country. Smooth fast playing neck Signature chimey Rickenbacker sound.Very underrated , as many have mentioned for only a few ducats more than the more popular California guitars you can have one of these excellent instruments. I had an older 330 style a few years back, and while it was a great guitar I find that I'm more of a solid body guy, so when this popped up at a good price (supposedly used..I can't tell) I gladly sold my MIM Strat & Tele, and LP Faded. and bought this bad boy.
Many people think of this as a "pop" guitar, but this can rock as hard as any GIbby and twang like a Fender, and I often play Jazz on it! Sounds great thru my old Maganatone Starlighter, and my Marshall Lead 12...
