The Ritual Electronics Amnis in detail:
Amnis from Ritual Electronics is a mixture of algorithmic sequencer, shift register, non-linear shift register and more. As a generative sequencer, Amnis generates for Gates and control voltages, acts as a digital noise source and as a random generator for Gate and CVs. Amnis sees itself more as the center of a chaotic system and that's where it's at its best. To do this job it only needs a clock signal and data, data can be pretty much anything: LFO, envelope, S&H, velocity, audio signal or a gate. From these two signals, Amnis always generates eight gate outputs in time. Three stepped voltages and one smoothed voltage is generated from these gate outputs. With 8 Gates and 4 CV outputs, it can be the heart of any generative patch. The XOR input is suitable for linear feedback. Thanks to the expansion connector on the back, the module is compatible with Turing Machine expanders.
