I love the boom pole, came at a great price. I used for my first short film shooting, and the result is great. My short-film can be found on Youtube, title is "NEE DE NOUVEAU (COURT METRAGE).
I bought this boom pole for location recording of outdoor sounds, where it's necessary to get close to the subject to avoid unwanted noises. For my first such recording, of bees coming in and out of their hives, it also allowed me to work far enough away to avoid disturbing these small but vital creatures. And it's light and easy to carry.
