
The NTG4 from Rode is a directional shotgun condenser microphone with a super-cardioid polar pattern in a robust, climate-resistant metal housing. 3 buttons with status LEDs for the high-pass filter (75Hz), pre-attenuation (-10dB) and presence boost, as well as a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with high sensitivity (25 mV), low inherent noise (16 dB-A) and a maximum SPL of 135dB makes the NTG4 perfectly suited for any imaginable application.
In my opinion, RODE has lost its crisp. I think this is the last RODE purchase i made. They claim very low noise level, but this mike is only acceptable noise-wise, but not the Real Pro. I understand the price range, but i expected something better compare number of China products like Saramonic...
