The powerful CPU, clear control panel and scene-based architecture enable smooth, creative production with minimal learning curve. or automated camera switching, precise chroma keying or perfect sound - the RØDECaster Video S is at the heart of modern multimedia workflows.

Creative control with an intuitive control panel

The clear layout of the RØDECaster Video S combines quick access and maximum flexibility. With five scene and four source buttons, a high-resolution 2-inch touchscreen and a multi-function encoder, any recording or live production can be effortlessly controlled.
Six function buttons - Fade to Black, Media, Overlay, Multi Source, Keying and Inspect - provide direct access to essential production functions. The innovative "Inspect" function allows scenes live to be checked and adjusted.

Thanks to auto-switching, camera and scene changes are carried out automatically based on the audio signal - a real advantage for solo producers or small teams.

Professional audio performance made by RØDE

The audio section of the RØDECaster Video S delivers studio quality with audiophile precision. Two Neutrik combo sockets allow the connection of microphones, instruments or line sources. Two integrated wireless receivers support the latest RØDE wireless systems.

The internal preamplifier with up to 76 dB gain ensures noise-free signals and powerful amplification, ideal for dynamic microphones.
The integrated signal processor offers extensive sound processing with compressor, EQ, de-esser, Noise gate, high-pass filter, aural exciter, big bottom and compressor. Each channel can be individually adjusted to achieve a professional, broadcast-ready sound.

Maximum connectivity for any production environment

With a width of just 25 cm, the RØDECaster Video S offers impressive connectivity.
Three HDMI inputs and a freely configurable HDMI output allow for flexible video setups. Four USB-C ports ensure comprehensive integration: one port for video/UVC, two for computer connection and one for an external storage medium. Two TRS sockets (6.35 mm) for headphones round off the features.

The RØDECaster Video S supports direct recording in H.264 to USB drives, ISO recording from four video sources plus program feed and RTMP streaming to platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, LinkedIn and X - optionally via Ethernet or WLAN.
In addition, up to four NDI inputs and one NDI output via Ethernet are available for network cameras (including PTZ control).

Remote control and software integration

With the free RØDECaster app for Mac and PC, the console can be fully remote controlled. Scene creation, audio mixing and effects can be done directly from the computer. Thanks to cloud connectivity and a user-friendly interface, complex productions can be realized with ease.
