Roland A-800 PROI was looking long for a 61 keys masterkeyboard. It is very hard to find a good one in this price range with a good keybed and which also does not feel cheap overall.
I did not found it important if the included additional software is very good. Since i have already enough plugins.
The only difficulty was to install the drivers without into in windows 10. (Also it includes a driver CD, which only has upto windows 8.1 driver, which can not be used with windows 10.)
But Roland was very quick with its support to send me the windows 10 drivers via mail within 24h.
Apart from that i love everything about the A800-Pro.
For me 5/5.
This is replacing a fully working Novation Impulse, primarily because of Roland's Sonar plugin. I've used Cakewalk/Sonar since 2001, and I need a control surface that plugs in and plays. This does, and it is so satisfying.
As for the rest of the product, I am really happy with the quality feel and, most importantly, the feel of and silence of the keys. Roland definitly know how to design and make high quality instruments, and the fact that this model has been around for over a decade speaks volumes.
