Roland Duo-Capture Ex USB Audio Interface

The Roland Duo Capture EX is a USB audio interface compatible with MAC, PC and iPad.

Housed in a compact, rugged metal case, the new Duo-Capture EX is perfect for both home recording and mobile production. It features two combo XLR/TRS audio inputs on the front of the unit, controlled by individual 'Sensitivity' gain controls with a Peak LED to monitor levels. The front also houses a headphone output with its own volume control.

On the rear of the unit there are stereo jack outputs, a MIDI input and output and a bit rate switch to choose between 44.1 and 48 KHz for recording. Users can choose between Hi and Lo impedance for recording a guitar, as well as switching on Phantom Power.

The Duo Capture is powered by USB when plugged into a computer, but can be powered by 2 x AA batteries or a Roland PSB-1U power supply when used with an iPad.

The Roland Duo Capture EX's audio inputs make use of a pair of VS preamps, which feature the same professional components used in Roland’s high-end digital mixers.
