Mini-Keyboard-Extension for Roland Boutique Synthesizer
The K-25m is a velocity sensitive keyboard with 25 keys which was specially designed for the modules of the Roland Boutique series.
Measuring less than 12“, the K-25m keyboard unit functions as a dock for all of the models of the Roland Boutique Series. As soon as the module has been integrated, the module can be either laid flat or propped up at an angle.
Alternatively, the module can be positioned flat. The octave range of this compact keyboard reaches over 10 octaves when used in connection with a Boutique module.

Whilst I plan to use the SE-02 in a rack with various inputs/outputs and a full size keyboard - this mini keyboard is ideal for portable 'noodling' with the synth - when you just want to explore. May even use it in some performances as well. Lovely light keys with nice firm movement. And the part metal case is reassuring.
At first a great idea for taking your boutique synth away from the studio to find inspiration. Unfortunately the black keys break very easily and the connecting ribbon cable quickly fatigues causing some notes not to play. I had my first replaced under warranty, the second Broke even faster. This is good to play with your boutique on your lap but don't expect it to last. Roland's customer service has been more than useless (my JX-03 ribbon controllers were also faulty and not repaired). TBH not worth the money and £30 more than they were originally.
