So much power, so many features, yet it still manages to be somewhat intuitive... mostly :) Thankfully there's a huge community of 404 enthusiasts and YouTubers, so I never feel lost. The answer is always just a click away, and the user manual is really good too. This was love at first sight for me. Build quality is great and the top plate is made of metal. The 404 is going to be the centerpiece of my mobile setup for the summer.
Sold my MPC Live 2 after getting this. It does everything I want, is more compact, easier to use and half the price! Excellent bit of kit.
My only gripe is that I dislike the EU power supply as I have to use a UK adapter which is really annoying!!! And I can't find an original Roland PSD-230E anywhere!!! Would have rather paid more than have that stupid monstrosity!
