The Roland WM-1 provides a wireless connection betweenMIDI instruments and Bluetooth-MIDI devices using state-of-the-art Bluetooth technology. Due to sophisticated algorithms, a super-fast latency of only 3 ms is guaranteed in Fast mode, which is the preferred mode for time-critical applications such as synchronizing instruments with sequencers. Furthermore, the used Bluetooth standard is sufficient to be used on stages and in larger studios. If you have to deal with long MIDI cables or want to integrate the electric piano at the other end of the room or even want to use a MIDI Bluetooth controller, the WM-1 is the right helper for you. Please note:
For a bidirectional connection of MIDI devices two WM-1 are necessary. If the connection between a MIDI instrument and a Bluetooth device (e.g. laptop or BluetoothMIDI controller) is intended, only one WM-1 is sufficient.
