SOMA Laboratory Illuminator at a glance:
SOMA Laboratory's Illuminatorconverts eight control voltages into LED-compatible voltages for synchronized light shows. Have you ever wanted a blue LED strip to fade in smoothly to match the envelope, a white LED element to be rhythmically triggered by a sequencer clock and therefore act like a stroboscope, or a red LED strip to fade in and out cyclically due to a triangle LFO? The Illuminator can do all this and more, and it's easy to use: just connect the eight included LED strips and the power supply to the CV to Light Converter, and the setup is ready for a spectacular light show based solely on the up to eight control voltages supplied. Each channel has a CV input with 3.5 mm mono jack(Eurorack / semi-modular synths) and a CV pin; this also allows the connection via an alligator clip to Pulsar-23 or Ornament-8; the DC connector has an output power of 12 V / 0.5 A per channel. With the Illuminator the studio corner becomes a magical place, the stage table in the club for your own show polarizes without end and in general everything is simply disco with the Illuminator.
