The SSL UMD192 is an uncompromisingly powerful digital audio interface for live sound, broadcast and studio. In a compact half 19-inch format, it combines Dante, MADI and USB 3.0 in a highly flexible system and acts as an intelligent, bidirectional converter between several audio worlds. If you need a large number of channels, maximum reliability and minimal latency, this is a real control center for professional setups.

Maximum flexibility with a maximum number of channels

With up to 192 channels simultaneously, the SSL UMD192 is made for complex signal flows. It enables bidirectional conversion between two freely selectable formats, while the signal can be split to a third format in parallel. or touring rack, OB van or hybrid studio setup - the routing remains transparent, stable and controllable at all times.

Dante, MADI and USB 3.0 - perfectly integrated

The interface combines Dante AoIP, MADI and USB 3.0 in one device. Dante is provided including AES67 and ST 2110 support and operates with an extremely low latency of just 0.25 ms. On the MADI side, six BNC pairs are available, which can be operated in redundancy mode as three independent, fail-safe MADI connections.

Stable clock, reliable control, maximum redundancy

Clocking can be realized versatile via MADI or Dante. The front panel offers clear status displays, intuitive controls and a lock function to protect settings from accidental changes. Several power supply options are available for reliable operation - including redundancy for critical applications.

Designed for professional workflows

The SSL UMD192 is fully Mac compatible and Windows is supported via dedicated SSL drivers. The combination of high channel count, ultra-low latency and flexible power supply makes it ideal for demanding production environments where stability and scalability are critical.
