The Sandberg Basic 4 Greenline PF Natural Satin B-Stock convinces as a straight designed E-Bass with a high playability and a rich rock sound. As part of the sustainable Greenline program, the four-string is built from characterful woods with uneven coloring and grain to avoid unnecessary waste of natural resources. In addition to the ash body and the comfortable maple neck, the Basic 4 Bass features a powerful Sandberg power humbucker along with matching active electronics, which elicit a surprising variety of tones from the bass amplifier. Last but not least, the Basic 4 Greenline PF Natural Satin Bass from Sandberg is equipped with a Sandberg Bridge 4 and encapsulated Sandberg Die-Cast Machine Heads. As a B-stock instrument, the Basic four-string features a paint flaw above the treble pot.

Sandberg Basic with high playing comfort

For the construction of the Sandberg Basic 4 bass guitar, the Brunswick-based company relies on a proven wood selection that guarantees a crisp sound with an even Sustain. Accordingly, the body is made of ash, while the five-piece maple and mahogany neck carries a beautiful pau ferro fingerboard. Here, the flat C-profile offers smooth playability up to the 24th fret, while the modern body design maintains a perfectly balanced playing position on both the strap and the thigh.

Sandberg Basic Greenline

With the sustainable Sandberg Basic Greenline, the cult company from Braunschweig positions itself against the waste of natural resources. Accordingly, only characterful woods with uneven grain and color are used for the construction of the four-stringer, which in all likelihood would have been sorted out, but which make the Bass an extraordinary one-of-a-kind with an independent look and unconditional reliability. Every Sandberg Basic Greenline sold also contributes to the regeneration of the forests in the Harz region with a tree planted via the United Kids Foundation forest.

The pickup on the Basic 4 is a Sandberg Powerhumbucker, which is mounted in the sweet spot of the string vibration. The bass amplifier thus provides a rich tone, whose deep bass foundation, striking mids and brilliant treble spectrum provide the perfect foundation for driving rock grooves. But the bass guitar also cuts a first-class figure with funky slap techniques. The active 3-band tone control also allows precise tuning of the sound image. The Bass can also be set to passive mode by pulling the volume control.
