Sandberg Bass Strings 4-Set 040-100 Been using nickel or elixir strings for past 10yrs because they were less damaging on my fingers. Bought a Sandberg bass which had the steel wounds on and i couldn't believe how good they were on my fingers. They do have quite a twang for about the 1st wek of regular playing and then they stabilise and had them on for 3 mths and just starting to dull down and feel tighter. Great price for a great string so i'm a convert to Sandberg steelwound strings and will be putting on my other basses now.
