The perfectly tuned, active 2-band equalizer is used for adjusting the sound. A push/pull switch in the volume control lets you bypass the equalizer for classic passive sound. In addition, both pickups can be split via the split switch, making first-class single-coil sounds also part of the bass's repertoire.
