As a limited special series, Sandberg presents the Sandberg California TM4 Ida Nielsen LTD SoftAged Strawberry Milkshake, a very special instrument that is tailor-made for the Queen or Slap Bass Ida Nielsen. The 4-string from the Brunswick-based guitar manufacturer is based entirely on the tried-and-tested specifications that Ida swears by for her regular signature bass: a solid alder body with a six-piece bolt-on neck, a powerful and versatile pickup setup and, of course, first-class in-house Hardware and a unique design. However, the limited edition in the eye-catching Strawberry Milkshake high-gloss finish is limited to 72 pieces worldwide. So fans had better not wait too long!
California V in TM configuration
While the base of the instrument is made of alder and maple and forms a classic tonewood combination, the shaping and general dimensions create a classic Sandberg feeling from the very first note played. The back of the neck has a slim C-profile , while the proven 14" radius on the front ensures the best playability across all 22 frets . Precious block inlays made of Perloidare embedded in the fretboard for orientation.
Sandberg Blacklabel Pickups
Under the white pickup covers are two in-house Sandberg Blacklabel pickups. In the middle position, a J-style single coil provides clear and defined sounds, while the M-style humbucker provides additional power in the bridge position. Also on board are active electronics with a 2-band equalizer that allows extensive adjustments to the sound. The Sandberg California TM4 Ida Nielsen LTD SoftAged Strawberry Milkshake is completed by a solid Sandberg bridge and Sandberg machine heads with D-tuners for the E-string, allowing you to switch between standard tuning and drop-D tuning in a matter of seconds.

The Sandberg California TM4 Ida Nielsen LTD SoftAged Strawberry Milkshake has a few surprises in store for fans and collectors: The Bass comes not only with a matching Gigbag but furthermore an Ida Nielsen hoodie in the matching color and a CD version of her latest album More Sauce, Please! which - just like the back of the headstock - is hand-signed by Ida Nielsen.
