The Schecter Keith Merrow KM-7 MKIII Standard Stealth Grey is the latest prank from the house of Schecter, which is completely tailored to the preferences of the U.S. studio guitarist, producer, engineer and Youtuber Keith Merrow. Here, the seven-string electric guitar turns out to be the perfect workhorse for Keith's tight rhythms and technically demanding modern metal leads, providing surprisingly amazing playability with its slim body design and ideal weight distribution.

Lightweight swamp ash body & Ultra Thin C maple neck.

To give the seven-string signature instrument a low Gewicht and maximum playability, the Keith Merrow KM-7 MKIII Standard Stealth Grey relies on a body made of featherweight swamp ash, which, thanks to its adaptive rib width, boasts ergonomic playing characteristics when played both on a strap and on the lap. Following the same design philosophy, the 3-strip maple neck features an extremely thin Ultra Thin C profile and additional graphite reinforcement.

Of course, the Schecter Keith Merrow KM-7 MKIII Standard Stealth Grey uses two Diamond KM humbuckers wound specifically to Keith Merrow's tonal specifications. The seven-string version of the KM double coils is characterized by its particularly tight response, and Keith's percussive rhythm licks to give their razor-sharp precision. Via the additional Mini Switch both humbucker furthermore can be switched into the coil Split mode for airy clear single coil sounds.
