As frontman of the British band The Mission and through his well-known guitar work on 6- and 12-string instruments with the Sisters or Mercy, Wayne Hussey has been given a Signature electric guitar tailored to his characterful dark Wave sound in the form of the Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory. The 12-String in semi-hollow construction impresses with its extremely versatile sound, high-quality Hardware and beautiful visual appeal for fans and collectors.

Semi-hollow maple body

The body of the Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory is made of maple and built in semi-resonance construction. Thanks to the solid center block under the Schecter Diamond Adjustable-12 bridge, the Corsair-12 can be easily played in the vocal clean sound range as well as in distorted areas with increased gain settings. The slim Thin-C profile of the glued maple neck, on the other hand, provides the fretting hand with a solid base for carefree playing on the 22-fret ebony fretboard.

Diamond tubebucker with flexible switching

As a special highlight of the Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory Signature , two Schecter Diamond tubebuckers are used in the neck and bridge positions. The two humbuckers are each made up of two single pickups in lipstick design and combine the tonal qualities of classic Dano models from the sixties with the tonal advantages of the humbucker. Both pickups can be individually switched to coil-split mode via the push/pull function of both tone controls, giving the Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory a huge range of tonal possibilities.

Gold hardware & optical finesse

The Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory is also visually impressive. In addition to its elegant ivory high-gloss finish with multiple bindings on the body, f-holes, fretboard and headstock, the instrument's entire hardware is finished in gold, while the four grip tip Speed knobs have a practical rubber coating for improved grip. The Schecter Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory furthermore offers fans and collectors coveted appointments in the form of the elaborate Mission and Design fingerboard inlays and Wayne's signature on the back of the headstock.
