The two CMC 6 microphone amplifiers form the technical foundation of this set. They operate with extremely low distortion, constant transmission and a fully balanced, transformerless output stage in A B mode. Whether 12 V or 48 V phantom power, the CMC 6 automatically recognizes the supply and adapts to it without any changes to the sound. Even with long cable runs or a weak supply, the signal remains stable and interference-free. The integrated RFI shield reliably protects against RF interference, as can occur in film sound or with modern cameras.

Low noise, level stability and musicality

With a very low inherent noise and high sound pressure limit, the Schoeps MK 2H Stereo Set is suitable for the finest quiet passages as well as for dynamically demanding recordings. The omnidirectional capsules react quickly, but always remain controlled and natural. Transients are reproduced cleanly, without sharpness, and the low frequency range appears deep and stable, even at greater microphone distances.
