Serato SoundSwitch

Serato SoundSwitch offers DJs the possibility to seamlessly link DMX-controlled lighting effects with their live sets. With the easy-to-use hardware software solution, DJs can assign lighting effects to an audio file. The hardware interface serves as a dongle between computer and lighting desk or lighting system and is connected via USB at the input and DMX at the output. As soon as the DJ plays the corresponding track in his set, the assigned lighting effects are started automatically. This results in a light show perfectly synchronized with the live performance of the DJ. The SoundSwitch software offers numerous possibilities for creatively combining music tracks and DMX-controlled lighting effects - both before and during the live performance.

With features like the "Autoscript Lightning Generator" you can automatically (with only one click) generate light shows for whole crates and playlists. All audio files can be customized with scripts and unedited files always access a pool of lightshow auto loops. Via the integrated MIDI panel, functions such as stroboscope, fog machine, dimmer, color overrides and many other features can be used in live operation. The parameters can be assigned to any MIDI controller easily and intuitively using the MIDI Learn function. Serato SoundSwitch works in conjunction with the DJ software Serato DJ or Virtual DJ.
