The combination of a copper-plated steel ground plate and strong coil windings on Alnico II magnets makes the APST-1 deliver the typical Twang-sound of Telecaster guitars.

The APST-1 Twang Banger is recommended for bridge position and results in a nice setup when combined with APS-2 or SSL-2 pickups on the neck and in-between.
