The TR-512 is a compact but very powerful tool in order to trigger any lightshow or scene in a simple way.
The TR-512 can record and playback several DMX shows which can be stored on a micro-SD card. Shows can be playbacked by 6 external triggers. Each trigger can start either a show or scene. Each show can be played back in a loop mode or single play. Even a delay time can be set in order to have precise control of your shows.
With all these powerful functions the TR-512 is the right product to trigger your shows or scenes in theme parks, museums, shops
Specifications
Its a robust little box, and runs off 12v DC which is handy if you want to run it standalone off a standard battery. The 12v adaptor if pretty flimsy, but it would add extra cost to put a decent one in, and theres always plenty floating about! It does include a 16GB micro SD card, so its ready to run out of the box.
I used this on a outdoor install in a drybox to provide a DMX signal for an outdoor gobo projector. It worked really well. I haven't used the external triggers yet, but they look pretty easy to setup on an rj45 ethernt socket.
All in all I'm pretty pleased with this, and it should be a great addition to our hire stock.
