Rack-mountable wireless receiver with automatic group and channel scan and a clear LCD display

The Shure BLX4R is a rack-mountable wireless receiver for Shure’s BLX wireless systems, offering simple operation and reliable signal transmission. Thanks to automatic group and channel scanning, a free frequency can be found quickly, whilst the group and channel can also be set manually if required. The clear LCD display provides information at all times on the group, channel, RF signal strength, audio level and the active antenna for the diversity signal.

For flexible connection options, the BLX4R features an XLR output at microphone level and a 6.3-mm jack output at instrument level. The output level can be adjusted directly on the unit.

Two BNC antenna sockets allow the supplied antennas or optional antenna systems to be connected. With a range of up to 91 metres in line of sight, the receiver is also suitable for larger applications. In addition, the system allows up to 12 wireless links to operate simultaneously – depending on the band and RF environment. It can also be easily mounted in a standard 19-inch rack.

The frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz ensures natural audio transmission. Thanks to the combination of automatic frequency search, manual adjustment options and a clear status display, the BLX4R offers a convenient solution for a wide variety of wireless applications.
