Shure BLX288E/PG58 H8E, 514-540MHz Wireless Dual Handheld System

The Shure BLX288E/PG58 H8Eis a wireless dual handheld microphone system for vocals, speech and presentations. The set consists of the BLX88 dual receiver and two BLX2 handheld transmitters with PG58 microphone capsule and operates in the H8E frequency band from 518-542 MHz. Automatic group and channel scanning makes set-up quick and easy, while manual channel and group settings offer additional flexibility.

The system allows simultaneous operation of up to 12 compatible systems - depending on the frequency band and RF environment - and achieves a range of up to 91 metres with line of sight. The frequency response of 50 Hz to 15 kHz ensures clear and balanced speech and vocal transmission, complemented by a dynamic range of 100 dB and a typical distortion factor of just 0.5 %.

The BLX88 receiver has XLR microphone outputs as well as 6.3 mm jack outputs and offers LED indicators for audio level, overload and operating status. The BLX2 hand-held transmitters operate on two AA batteries each and allow runtimes of up to 14 hours. Two gain levels including -10 dB reduction are also available. An integrated locking function protects the transmitter and receiver from accidental changes during operation.
