The Shure MVX2U Gen 2 is a compact single-channel audio interface that connects your XLR microphone directly to your laptop, smartphone or tablet via USB. The idea behind it is simple: connect a classic studio microphone and record or stream immediately without any detours. Whether desktop setup or mobile recording on the go, the small interface ensures a stable and clean signal flow.

Consistent sound thanks to integrated DSP technology

Digital signal processing from the Shure MOTIV series is at work inside. This is particularly noticeable when you are not sitting in a perfectly treated environment. The Voice Isolation technology helps to bring your voice clearly to the front, while disturbing background noise is reduced.

The Auto Level mode automatically adjusts the gain so that you don't have to constantly worry about the level. There is also a real-time denoiser and the Digital Popper Stopper, which mitigate typical problems such as background noise or plosive sounds directly in the signal. The result remains consistent, no matter which device you are working with.

Enough power for every microphone

With up to +60 dB gain, the MVX2U Gen 2 reliably brings even power-hungry dynamic microphones up to level. Even classics with low sensitivity can be operated without additional Preamp Of course, 48 V phantom power is also available for condenser microphones.

This makes the interface flexible to use, whether for voice recording, podcasts or streaming.
