The Shure SE846 earphones have been on the market for nearly 10 years and still set the standard for the professional music industry and audiophiles. The flagship model is presented as a 2nd Generation with an additional sound characteristic, an extended Set with earpieces and an updated packaging.

The addition of a new "extended" sound filter delivers improved high frequency extension with a more focused contour in frequency response (4kHz - 12kHz). This results in an improvement in perceived detail, increases clarity of output and adds an "airy" quality to the sound. The new Generation of the popular earphone now offers four sound characteristics compared to three sound characteristics (balanced, warm and bright) in the previous model SE846.

Also newly included is a new extra-small, black Comply foam earpiece in size XS.
