Octave Fuzz with additional filter effect
The Canadian effects company's Solid Gold FX 76 Plus combines a premium vintage octave fuzz guitar effect pedal with a fixed octave-up setting and a flexible, wah-wah-like filter to create a highly versatile FX pedal for friends and connoisseurs of hairy distortion. While the Fuzz pot controls the intensity of the fuzz distortions as usual, the Texture control smoothly transitions from an extremely low-middle scoop sound to a juicy grind with emphasized midrange frequencies. In addition, the three-level Color and Clip controls determine the amount of treble and compression of the fuzz effect. If desired, the filter effect of the Solid Gold FX 76 Plus brings additional life to the sound. The Speed slider determines the speed of the filter sweep, while the Mode and Shape switches determine its sound character. Thanks to the Expression Input, the filter of the Solid Gold FX 76 Plus can also be controlled in real time via an optionally available Expression pedal.
