The Sommer Cable B2GS-0250-SW DMX cable with a length of 2.5 m in black is ideal for transmitting the 110 O AES/EBU 2 DMX512 data format. It is made of the DMX Binary 234 AES/EBU MKII and HICON connectors.

This cable is an extremely rugged companion that will serve you well for both indoor and outdoor installations. This is ensured by the resistant PVC jacket, which ensures easy handling and processing due to its simultaneous high flexibility. The signal transmission also leaves nothing to be desired with the oxygen-free copper wires. By means of the symmetrical signal routing, interfering signals are evenly distributed to both conductors, which simply eliminate them due to their opposite polarity. A shielding consisting of a copper spiral shield and aluminum-vaporized fleece, which allow an optical coverage of 100%, is an additional protection factor. This insensitivity to interference enables undistorted and excellent signal quality even over longer distances.

HICON connector

The cable is equipped with the five-pin HI-X5CF-M cable socket and the HI-X5CM-M cable connector, also five-pin, in proven HICON quality. These are extremely robust and can be coded for clarity. Excellent conductivity is ensured by silver-plated contacts.
