The Sommer Cable SGMF-0600-SW microphone cable with a length of 6 m is especially suitable for stage and home recording. Its good workmanship with high-quality materials makes it an excellent music accessory and reliable companion. It is made of the proven Sommer Cable Stage 22 Highflex microphone cable and Neutrik connectors.
The Stage 22 Highflex cable is designed to withstand high mechanical stress thanks to its robust yet soft and flexible PVC outer jacket, allowing for easy reeling and winding.
Fine-stranded wires guarantee high transmission quality, while a dense copper spiral shield with 99% coverage (well above the usual 85%) maximizes protection against interference. Its balanced signal transmission greatly reduces noise, even over long distances. This works by sending the same voltage on an additional conductor but with inverted polarity, so external interference affects both conductors equally and is effectively canceled out.
The cable is finished with premium Neutrik XLR connectors: female NC3FXX and male NC3MXX. These connectors feature silver-plated contacts for excellent conductivity and a slim, ergonomic design suitable for tight spaces.
Colored rings and clamping sleeves allow easy identification when using multiple cables. The rugged die-cast metal housing and polyurethane cable grommet provide kink and strain relief, ensuring durability even under demanding conditions.
