Stage 22 Highflex

The Sommer Cable SGN5-0100-SW microphone cable, measuring 1 meter, is ideal for both stage and home recording. Its excellent craftsmanship and high-quality materials make it a reliable and essential accessory for musicians. It’s built using the proven Sommer Cable Stage 22 Highflex microphone cable paired with Neutrik connectors.

The Stage 22 Highflex cable is designed to withstand heavy mechanical stress, thanks to its robust PVC outer jacket. Despite its durability, the jacket remains soft and flexible, allowing for easy coiling and handling.

Fine-stranded wires ensure excellent transmission quality, while a dense copper spiral shield protects against interference. With 99% coverage well above the typical 85% it offers maximum shielding. Its balanced signal transmission further enhances resistance to interference, even over longer distances. Balanced cables carry an additional conductor with the same voltage but inverted oscillations, which effectively cancels out noise through difference calculation.

The cable is completed by high-quality Neutrik connectors: the NP3X jack plug and the NC3FXX XLR plug.

Neutrik NP3X and NC3FXX

The Neutrik NP3X is a 6.3 mm stereo jack plug with nickel-plated contacts. Its slim 14.5 mm design is perfect for tight spaces, enabling high connector density on panels. The collet strain relief ensures a secure fit, and the precision-milled, one-piece contacts prevent the tip from snagging.

The Neutrik NC3FXX elevates XLR cable connector standards. This three-pin female XLR connector features silver-plated contacts for excellent conductivity and offers numerous practical features:

A Female cage contact reduces contact resistance and increases conductivity.
A female contact with solder stop prevents solder from flowing into the plug contact
