Sound generation

The rhythm section is fully polyphonic and has access to over 350 Drum sounds and over 100 special sounds. With this alone, you can program driving grooves of the danceable kind on the fly. The Bass synth builds its monophonic sounds with two wavetable oscillators with 64 wavetables, a versatile sub oscillator and a noise generator with 16 variations. The adjusted sound flows into a resonant digital multimode filter that offers lowpass, Bandpass and Highpass along with downstream distortion. Life is breathed in by means of LFO and an ADSR envelope. The final touches to the sounds of the LIVEN Bass & Beats are provided by the sidechain compressor and a reverb effect.

Sequencer

The sequencer is programmable live or stepwise in TR grid and has a memory capacity of 128 patterns, each of which can be up to 64 steps long. Recording Parameter locks brings life and variety to the patterns. Transposing in real time is possible as well as setting slide commands and accents. With the Shuffle (Swing) parameter more groove comes into the beats and basslines. Various live effects in the sequencer bring variations to the current pattern at the touch of a button without having to reprogram anything.
